Equinox Balancing

https://moon-rites.mn.co/share/qCxKhEk5LvWYw4Oy

Since the beginning of this year I join my friend Inarra Aryana Griffyn for moon rites and rituals, mainly on the full moon or new moon, and for many other important times of the lunar and solar cycles.

Inarra offers the rituals online. We are a world wide audience and participants.

As I was away I took a bit of a break. Now with Autumn Equinox I will be back on board.

Come and join, follow the link. Your first months is free to try.

You can join the events live, or later on your own time in the replay.

See you in the Moon Rites.

Affirmations – Advent Calendar

On the 1st of December I started with a 21 days meditation/manifestation challenge, initiated by a meditation group in Germany. Two weeks ago I suggested in a couple yoga classes (so not all of you in the classes know about this). Repeat a different positive affirmation or mantra every day as an Advent Calendar starting on the 1st of December until Christmas. If you were busy or didn’t know about it from me….. do it now or as a family game at Christmas or New Year’s Eve: everyone states a positive affirmation. You can come up with your own or there are many in the books by Louise Hay, Dr. Wayne Dyer, etc. for example.

If you like New Year’s resolutions start at the 1st of January.

You can start for yourself anytime…. and know that many around the world are doing the same. The gist is, when you practice or do something for a minimum of 21 days every day (if you miss one you start again at day one) it becomes a habit.

Here are some examples I created for you as a motivation and inspiration. When you repeat an affirmation often it becomes a Mantra.

Street Art in my honour — Hatha Yoga Ipswich

A dear yoga student of mine and beautifully, gifted, talented Artist Lee FullArton did some local artwork in my honour. Photography

My intention is to add a photo or two with every post.

All these photos I take myself with my small digital camera, iPad or smart phone.

My grandfather was a (hobby) photographer. He gave me my first camera when I was a teenager, and showed me how to take photos using the zoom, etc. It was a camera with film rolls of course, all manual, nothing automatic or digital.

A few years back I did not take photos for a while. With digital and phone cameras everyone takes photos everywhere, so there is nothing special about it, unless one is a professional photographer.

But I found my love for photography again. And I discovered the different software and app to create collages and edit photos, a great way to be creative.
