Daily Gratitude 2023

Ok here we go….. I do my gratitude practice since many years in different ways. Please read one of my old posts from 2016, I put the link below.

So I decided a few days ago, that in 2023 it’s time to take it up a notch, share a daily Gratitude in Instagram stories @mariaprema (also connected to Facebook HathaYogaIpswich).

This has some challenges for me in more than one way. I’m up to it and curious where it will lead me:

I don’t post on social media every day, let alone share stories. I like to set up some kind of template, this might change during the course of twelve months of course. Who knows I might even start to make reels. Setting and respecting my own boundaries, as I intend to post and share daily; turning the phone off when I’m done!

Making better use of my personal blog & website http://www.mariasteiner.com (As a start I write my intention about the daily Gratitude 2023 here). Even though the daily stories will mainly be on Instagram, I intend to write here a blog post every now and then about the progress of my #DailyGratitude2023.

Follow my stories and let’s have some fun.

Looking forward with curiosity, joy and breathing in the moment.

Please read through my blog post from January 2016.

Back in 2013 I started with a gratitude jar……..

Affirmations – Advent Calendar

On the 1st of December I started with a 21 days meditation/manifestation challenge, initiated by a meditation group in Germany. Two weeks ago I suggested in a couple yoga classes (so not all of you in the classes know about this). Repeat a different positive affirmation or mantra every day as an Advent Calendar starting on the 1st of December until Christmas. If you were busy or didn’t know about it from me….. do it now or as a family game at Christmas or New Year’s Eve: everyone states a positive affirmation. You can come up with your own or there are many in the books by Louise Hay, Dr. Wayne Dyer, etc. for example.

If you like New Year’s resolutions start at the 1st of January.

You can start for yourself anytime…. and know that many around the world are doing the same. The gist is, when you practice or do something for a minimum of 21 days every day (if you miss one you start again at day one) it becomes a habit.

Here are some examples I created for you as a motivation and inspiration. When you repeat an affirmation often it becomes a Mantra.

I walk my path

Last year I wrote a poem, that got linked to photos I took earlier in the year.

i walk my path

The photo/poem can be ordered as artwork on greetings cards, journal cover, tote bags and a few more item on redbubble following this link:

As I woke up today I decided this is a new day, from now on I do it my way.

I walk my path.

I looked at the sun and saw so much fun.

…. I decided to walk my path.

I gathered my stuff and did let go of the rough.

…. now I walk my path.

I see my beauty, that shining sparkle in the eye, it feels like I can fly.

I walk my path.

If you are happy, kind, alive in your heart, I invite you in my life to play a part.

I walk my path.

If you rejoice to be with me, feel free to walk beside me.

…. as I walk my path.

I walk my path.
