I wear many hats, have many skills and talents. Nonetheless I'm one and the same person; my authentic self !! On this page I share some of my words, wisdom, thoughts, photos, humour, work, yoga, meditations…..
Ok here we go….. I do my gratitude practice since many years in different ways. Please read one of my old posts from 2016, I put the link below.
So I decided a few days ago, that in 2023 it’s time to take it up a notch, share a daily Gratitude in Instagram stories @mariaprema (also connected to Facebook HathaYogaIpswich).
This has some challenges for me in more than one way. I’m up to it and curious where it will lead me:
I don’t post on social media every day, let alone share stories. I like to set up some kind of template, this might change during the course of twelve months of course. Who knows I might even start to make reels. Setting and respecting my own boundaries, as I intend to post and share daily; turning the phone off when I’m done!
Making better use of my personal blog & website http://www.mariasteiner.com (As a start I write my intention about the daily Gratitude 2023 here). Even though the daily stories will mainly be on Instagram, I intend to write here a blog post every now and then about the progress of my #DailyGratitude2023.
Follow my stories and let’s have some fun.
Looking forward with curiosity, joy and breathing in the moment.
November 2023 – Update on the Daily Gratitude post 2023:
Yes, 11 months of almost daily sharing in stories on Insta & FB. At times it happened that I would only post the next day, or recently I did a catchup of 3 days. In general I really enjoyed the process and flow, I prepared the posts in Canva and then shared directly to my stories. I also learnt a few more skills along the way. Every Gratitude was with my own pictures, taken almost daily, very rarely did I use one of my old photos.
Five more weeks…. thanks for being and following with me this year. Maria xx
Please read through my blog post from January 2016.
My intention is to add a photo or two with every post.
All these photos I take myself with my small digital camera, iPad or smart phone.
My grandfather was a (hobby) photographer. He gave me my first camera when I was a teenager, and showed me how to take photos using the zoom, etc. It was a camera with film rolls of course, all manual, nothing automatic or digital.
A few years back I did not take photos for a while. With digital and phone cameras everyone takes photos everywhere, so there is nothing special about it, unless one is a professional photographer.
But I found my love for photography again. And I discovered the different software and app to create collages and edit photos, a great way to be creative.
Hello there, and thank you for turning your attention to my blog.
I was always a bit hesitant to start a blog, because English is not my first language. Maybe I just used it as an excuse not to write. I teach yoga classes in Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. www.hathayogaipswich.com.au So yes I have a website and blog section for this, where I write small blog posts regarding yoga and the class info, more or less frequently.
This year I started to be more active on Instagram, I really enjoy posting photos. Maybe this inspired me to start a personal blog, write and share more about my visions, ideas, spirituality, thoughts., etc.
As I live and work in an English speaking country since ten years, I just write how I speak.
